I want to bite your flesh and see if it bleeds

I wonder what it is to be part of each other. To eat the other, to engorge, to dissolve so we can co-exist. That my pores are your pores. I want to bite your flesh and see if it bleeds. Taste if we’re the same. To use my teeth and scar you for life. Your skin stuck eternally on my front teeth. Not out of love but as a search for unity and fusing. A quest that goes beyond the sentimental.

I want to bite your flesh and see if it bleeds is a hyperphysical performance on how to fuse with the other. Inspired by rave culture and sweat, this presentation will take you on a journey on how to transcend ourselves: from cannibalism to circus and from techno to wrestling.

I’m currently working on this piece. During Moving Futures Festival there will be a showing of work-in-progress at Theatre Bellevue on the 19th of May. More info and tickets here
