When Standing on a Mountain
WHEN STANDING ON A MOUNTAIN is a performance
about our vulnerable existence and how to cope with it.
Our bodies continue until they have no longer the ability to.
If we oppose the fleshliness of the body versus the sublime of nature,
we can see our own insignificance.
The nullity of our existence can paralyse us,
but can serve as a handhold
A mountain can confront us with our temporality,
but its inherent beauty can comfort us.
If we let it.
